Part-Time Afternoon Babysitter for 6-Year-Old job at Wyndy Chicago, IL, US

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our 6-year-old daughter, Evie, in Chicago, IL. As part of a first responder family, your role will involve a rotating schedule with the following hours: Weeks 1 & 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM Weeks 2 & 4: Wednesday, Thursday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM Your duties will include arriving at our home by 3:30 PM to welcome Evie off the school bus between 4:00-4:30 PM. Assist her with her after-school routine and provide a light snack. Engage Evie in playful activities like singing, dancing, and interactive games, and supervise her tablet time while encouraging active play. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment until parents return by 6:00 PM. Occasionally therapists will visit Evie three times a week, offering you some downtime. Please note we have a friendly 12-year-old German Shepherd. No driving, bathing, or bedtime duties are required. This is a long-term, part-time position.
