Entry Level Office Assistant

Entry level Office Assistant opportunity available in Newport News.

Daily responsibilities:

1. Meet and greet staff and visitors.
2. Answer and direct calls.
3. Type and format correspondence.
4. Data entry, fax, file, and scan documents.
5. Assist homeowners in making their monthly payments.
6. Follow-up on delinquent payments.
7. Create and send out HOA violation notices to homeowners.
8. Assist with reimbursables and resale disclosure documents.
9. Other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of front desk reception, office clerk, or office assistant experience.
• Customer service driven and team oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
• Attention to detail, proactive, takes the initiative.
• Well versed in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
