Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Waxhaw, NC, in finding a nanny for their three children, ages 8,10 (boys), and 12 years old (girl). The nanny would be needed Monday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Friday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, for a total of 30 hours a week. Additional hours will be offered on days when the children are out of school, parents are traveling and require overnight care, or for date nights.

The best nanny for this family is a disciplined, tenured professional with extensive experience caring for school-aged children. A strong sense of structure and reliability is essential, as the children are active and involved in extracurricular activities, including sports, drama, voice, and piano. The nanny should be confident managing a dynamic schedule, supporting the children's interests, and maintaining an organized, respectful household environment.

Each day, the nanny should be capable of anticipating the family's and home's needs and taking full authority and initiative in managing the children's afternoon routine. Responsibilities include meal preparation, assisting with household tasks, running errands, picking up their sons from the bus stop at 2:10 pm, welcoming their daughter home from the bus stop at 4:00 pm, providing snacks, ensuring homework is complete, and transporting the children to various sports and extracurricular activities. The family values a nanny who fits seamlessly into their dynamic and busy lifestyle. A bilingual nanny who has some Spanish fluency would be a significant plus.

Both parents work from home, with mom following Pacific Standard Time hours, so a nanny who is proactive, organized, and takes charge independently is essential. Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level, both at home and in the community

• Transporting children to and from activities

• Ensuring homework is completed

• Planning outings and coordinating playdates

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s meal and snack prep

• Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day

• Tidying

• Laundry assistance

• Running errands

Pets: The family has a 7-month-old Mini Bernadoodle. That goes to doggy daycare two days a week and has a dog walker the other three days.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references
