1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the research process and application of regulatory requirements as they relate to assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, coordinating and managing all activities related to clinical trial activities and protocol requirements as delegated within the scope of a clinical research coordinator.
2. Effectively work and communicate with all workforce members (PI, Medical Staff, Nursing, Administration, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Medical Records, etc.) and with patients, families, visitors and the public.
3. Comply with all applicable research regulations, privacy regulations and site-specific practices, policies, and standard operating procedures.
4. Maintain accurate and complete study and subject research files with attention to timely data collection and entry as well as adherence to all reporting requirements and timelines
5. Actively participate in and support departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals and assist with mentoring and training study team members

Job Qualifications:


QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing Program and licensed as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Experience: 2 years experience in CCU, ICU, ED and/or Cardiac Cath Lab is preferred.. Critical Care nursing or extensive on-the-job training in the Cardiology realm of Medicine is required. Medical terminology is required. BLS is required.

Other Skills:


-Requires proficiency with computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
-Must be able to work in a constantly changing environment.


-Must be extremely flexible.


-Must be able to work with a team consisting of physicians, nurses, technicians, secretarial staff and other hospital supporting departments and personnel.
