Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Fire Watch Personnel to join our safety team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to help maintain a safe environment by monitoring designated areas for potential fire hazards and ensuring prompt response to any safety concerns.
You will play a key part in protecting the site, equipment, and personnel by remaining alert, identifying risks, and reporting issues immediately. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and operates with integrity at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential fire hazards
  • Maintain a visible presence in assigned areas to ensure a safe environment
  • Monitor entrances and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access
  • Observe and report any signs of smoke, fire, or unsafe conditions
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and safety systems, if applicable
  • Respond promptly to any signs of fire or emergency situations
  • Document and report daily activities, safety observations, and any incidents
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to stay alert and remain on foot for extended periods
  • Solid understanding of fire safety and basic emergency response procedures
  • Strong observational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Professionalism and a high level of integrity
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic written communication skills, including accurate log/report writing
  • Comfortable using radios, alarms, or basic surveillance tools when needed
