About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Development to lead the strategic direction of a comprehensive, donor-centered advancement program. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of fundraising, including annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, planned giving, and major and principal gifts. This role requires a dynamic, visionary leader with a proven track record in a large, complex environment, and the ability to inspire transformational philanthropic support. The Executive Director will work closely with the Dean, faculty, and senior staff to foster a culture of philanthropy, design and execute bold fundraising campaigns, and create partnerships that accelerate the institution's research, teaching, and community impact. Applicants for the Executive Director of Development position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in fundraising or a related field, with a strong preference for those holding an advanced degree. The role demands a leader with significant management experience, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and a proven record of success in major gift development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adept at building relationships, and possess the analytical skills necessary to drive performance and identify opportunities for improvement. A bachelor's degree is required, and a minimum of 2 years' of people management experience is also necessary.
