About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) to play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial and operational functions that support its mission. The CFAO will be responsible for a wide range of areas, including finance, investment management, grants management, compliance, risk management, data governance, information technology, and facilities operations. This senior leadership position involves strategic development, monitoring, and reporting of impact, with a strong focus on change management and the championing of technology, systems enhancements, and data analytics to support growth. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner and advisor, ensuring the successful implementation and evaluation of strategic plans. Candidates for the CFAO role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in finance and administration, with a preference for those who have served in a CFO or similar capacity for at least five years. A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred, along with a background in the non-profit sector and a proven track record of strategic and financial acumen. The role requires strong analytical and financial modeling skills, knowledge of GAAP, and experience in leading change with a focus on donor centricity and a growth mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with donor, CRM, and accounting databases is essential. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate cultural competence, the ability to lead diverse teams, and exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
